FAQ's

What if I can't control myself during hypnosis?

Hypnosis does not take over your brain. Hypnosis is a natural state, similar to being focused when you watch a movie on a TV or cinema screen.

What does being in a trance mean?

A trance is a half conscious state, in which your breathing slows down and your muscles become very relaxed. This is also described as being between the subconscious and conscious mind.

How does hypnosis work?

Hypnosis is not magic, it works by creating a burst of brain waves,  causing you to experience REM sleep, which allows you to access the subconscious mind.  Most vividly recalled dreams occur during REM sleep. So everyone can do this.

How does hypnosis feel?

The experience feels different for different people. Some people feel a floating sensation, others may feel sleepy, most people feel relaxed and at ease. Regardless of the feeling, it is effective for everyone.

Is hypnosis safe?

Hypnosis is perfectly safe and is not a dangerous procedure. It is not mind control or brainwashing, also a therapist cannot make a person do something embarrassing that the person doesn't want to do.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

No, you have complete control the whole time.  You can talk, move your body, get a tissue, or even get up and leave.  If our call gets disconnected you may drift into sleep, if you're really relaxed, but eventually you'll notice that you're not hearing my voice and open your eyes.

Do clients relive their experience during RTT session?

No, clients do not relive their past experiences, instead they are able to review their experiences, as though it were on a TV screen.

What if I do not want to share what I’m seeing during the session?

You do not have to share every scene that comes up during your RTT session. However, it is important that you have an understanding of the relevance of those scenes and know how they relate to your presenting problem.

What if I think I already know the reasons behind my issue?

Even if you think you know the reason, you see it in a completely new way, which allows you to change the meaning and ultimately change your beliefs. Many clients go back to scenes that are totally different from what they expected. Just relax and trust your subconscious mind to reveal the root cause.

When will I see changes?

There are three types of changes from Rapid Transformation Therapy, e.g i) Immediate: refers to changes in your Physiology, ii) Accumulative: means you see consistent shifts everyday or overtime, iii) Retroactive: you don't see the shifts right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life.

What if I need another session?

RTT is designed to give you a powerful breakthrough in your life. Some clients may require more than one RTT sessions, depending on how deep their experience or symptoms. In this case, it may take up to three.  Most individuals keep doing sessions to work on other areas of their life and receive coaching that integrate the new beliefs. And build new habits and behaviours. I do have options to help you long term through other areas of your life.

Will I get the same results during a zoom call, as if I was face to face, in the same room with the RTT practitioner?

Most RTT therapists do their sessions over zoom or Skype. This does not change the impact of the session.  This also allows for the client to remain in his or her own familiar setting, which helps the client to relax more easily.
